After the phenomenal success of the iPod, Apple has finally planned to unveil another revolutionary device – the iPhone – which will be one of the most advanced mobile phones available today. The revolutionary phone provides complete multimedia playback capability enabling the user to play songs, videos and photos. On his new product, an ecstatic Steve Jobs, CEO, Apple told the media, “The iPhone is a revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years ahead of any other mobile phone.”
To start with, this 11.6 millimeter device weighs just 135 grams and includes a 3.5 inch 480x320 touch screen display. Unlike other PDAs, the good old stylus is replaced by the user’s fingers! Furthermore, the phone employs an advanced built-in sensor – the accelerometer – which deals with both proximity and ambient light.
